Many large trees have fallen directly on this trail. Hiking is difficult, but passable for nimble footed.
Plans are being formulated to re-route this section, as it has always been slippery and funnels water eroding the trail and making it unsustainable.
Short steep section down the centre of a ravine. Requires some skill to manoeuvre through narrow sections edged by rocks.
