Close to Jøldalshytta there is a singletrack going over to Gjevilvasshytta. This track is on the famous "Trekanten i Trollheimen" (eng: The Trollheimen triangle). This part is without doubt the best part of the trail as it's the one that is most frequently used by hikers and mountain bikers. Going from north to south the track starts with a heavy uphill but once you get there its many kilometres with fun.
Be aware that Skrikhøa (one of the first areas you cross) is made out of slate and the layers are pointing upwards meaning that you will have some extended tearing on your rubber.
Also be aware that there are rain dear hurds roaming the area.
