A physically demanding trail on the climb with some moderate exposure and tight switchbacks. For large sections of the climb, you are rewarded with great views of Summerland. Once above the pond, the trail climbs and descends with some small rollover features and more scenery. After crossing the road twice, you will head back toward the pond. A more technical short descent is an option or one can take a short moderate descent down the climbing trail. Both options will take the rollable rock jump that you would have seen when you were climbing. The short downhill section after the rock jump will lead you back to the road. A new downhill section rejoins the climb trail well below the pond. One can follow the climb trail back to the trailhead or follow the arrows for an alternate route after going down the climb trail for a few hundred meters.
A further downhill section is being constructed that will eventually avoid using the climbing trail in the future.

Great Trail! Trail is denoted by well place logs and rock carins. One or two spots on the descent where directions need to be clearer as trail takes sharp turns. Judging by the trail wear in the wrong direction you can see 90% of people blow those corners. Just need a little bit more indicators on the downhill portion. Probably should be black rated trail as there are a number of natural drop features combined with some pretty steep shale. Oh most bermed corners are really well built.

Thanks for the comments. If you can remember, which corner(s) on the DH were an issue? I'm making a DH line separate from the climb line so I've limited the amount of signage going down the climb line. I don't want riders to get lost though.
I was torn between rating it a black or a tough blue trail. I appreciate your input on this.
      Cheers,
      Kevin
