A trail hand built by Thomas Lindup of TGLContracting Ltd during 2014 and 2015. It is a climbing track heading south with a few well graded switchbacks at the start then gradually climbs through trees and old stumps before descending down to a 4WD track, the start of the Pork Pie trail and the Masters Trail.

It was funded by the Lindup/Gainsford Foundation along with some funding from the New Plymouth Mountain Bike Club.

Access Info

At the northern end of the Mangamahoe MTB Park just off the gravel road; the start is on the track that leads down to the dam.
