Access road to Kananaskis fire lookout. Fire road on east side (gravel) of lookout is still in use and well maintained. West side is not in use anymore and has short vegetation growing on it, no gravel, just dirt. Still sees maintenance once in a while, because it is still part of the winter x-country ski trail system. Prefered direction is from east to west. Best downhill is the west segment.

Access Info

East is accessed by either the Whisky Jack trail (shorter - park at Boulton Ck), or from the Pocatera trail (longer - park at Pocatera trail head). West side is accessed through the Elk Pass-Hydroline trails (park at Elk Pass trail haed).
