Rocky, rooty, classic New England fall line hiking trail. The first mile from the road can be ridden and thereafter is primarily a hike-a-bike. Take a good look at some of the crux sections on your way up, as it can be ridden top to bottom. This trail is heavily trafficked by hikers (year round) so time your ride accordingly to avoid the crowds.

Parking at Cranmore sets you up nicely to follow up this trail with a spin up Hurricane Mountain road and accessing one of the many Black Cap Zone trails back to Cranmore.

Access Info

Parking is limited at the trail head, so unless you are there early park at Cranmore and access via the road or singletrack.
