Trail 44 starts at canuck pass, north of moyie springs. The trail follows buckhorn ridge to keno mountain. While the trail doesn't take you to the summit of keno, a short hike from keno saddle will take you to the summit. From keno saddle the trail drops down to the valley floor to keno creek.

 Keno creek trail is a better climb than a descent in my opinion. Try it. Then head north on the #44 and descend Ruby Ridge #35. Excellent 40km alpine ride.
