Many large trees down across the trail, blocking the trail. There must have been a cattle drive recently if you know what I mean!

Wonderful section of trail that makes a good loop when combined with Sherman Pass and Jungle Hill. Some good views early on, but generally wooded. Some medium technical sections. Moderate up and down until the section that drops down quickly to the start of the climb to the intersection with the Jungle Hill trail. Save some energy for that climb. Note, there is an intersection shortly before the climb that is not shown on Trailforks. Go right if you are heading to Jungle Hill.
