The Kids Bike Loop in Dupont State Recreational Forest is a great little singletrack for youngsters learning to ride mountain bikes. Smooth singletrack trails with very little elevation change makes for easy pedaling but the twists and turns help them develop skills. There is a skills area with rails, humps and other features for them to really hone their moves.

Not rideable due to down trees.

Correct, conversations are being had to remedy the situation. Fingers crossed and our little shreds will have a trail that is primo for them this summer!

Unfortunately only about 1/3 is rideable due to multiple fallen trees. Two of which fell directly along the path. I hope this isn’t true but it seems Mother Nature doesn’t want kids to bike. Say it isn’t so. I’m up for building a new path if anyone has the tools.
