Kingsbury Stinger is a one of the few dirt trails in Tahoe open to motorcycle riders. It is a re-route of an older rutted trail that was completed in 2016 through a partnership between the USFS and TAMBA. The intermediate level trail has a number of technical rock features, coupled with sustainable ride-around routes for other riders traveling uphill. It’s a good trail to ride uphill or down and provides for larger connections to the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT).

Routes clear just a bit muddy in spots ... definitely a fun ride for me!

Great trail, but kind of schizophrenic at times. Often steep and featured, but then followed by flat sections with lots of pedaling. Has 'flow' in bursts, but not all the way throughout.
