This is a segment of the Kokopelli route from Fruita to Moab. It is often used as an exit option by mountain bikes riding the Whole Enchilada Route to access Sand Flats Road and is also a popular mountain bike route to climb up to the start of UPS when the upper section of the Kokopelli is still muddy.
