Kooloot Biddi Northern Terminus 1 #1

Located immediately north of Narrogins cycle hub, this is the first leg north of the regional route 'Kooloot Biddi' track. Located within Shire of Cuballing Yornaning Dam parklands.
This is Northern Terminus 1 (one) a cycle loop comprising two single direction loops, this is the northern leg (green rated) cycle trail designed to be riden prior to adjacent southern leg (blue rated) trail. Trail winds through past early settler home, activities, clay pottery works, to elevated quarry with loose laterite pea gravel, forest, regenerating bush.

Trail adjoins a significant public forest virgin park, follow kangaroo animal tracks that previous explorer mountain bike riders have been seen travelling - that's if ya keen to venture bush

Track design brief:
Develop sustainable bush track to support very small local community who are resource poor, in such a remote small location.
Setup suitable for night riding. Trail marked with WHITE MARKERS. Reflectorised red markers. Riders ride with red reflectors to your left side. Stay on the marked track.
Risk:
Expect few riders will find or even ride this remote location. Volunteer track supporters / riders / builders - very rare. Riders must be experienced, self contained, accompany other riders for safety.

Recommended rider style (to understand the track design): suit explorers, try initial slow steady 10km - 20km, relaxed posture cruise in standup mode on your pedals. Track design aims to encourage riders to use their eyes on surrounds. This cycle location design is not about following a cleared track but makes riders utilise their surroundings to identify the track ahead. Otherwise you will get lost!
NIGHT-RIDING: this track comes into it's own with the reflectors. Plus cooler temperatures in peak summer seaon. Consider riding with quality 900+ lumen helmet and handlebar lights to capture that advantage for trail reflectors to indicate forward direction through the dense bush / forest.

Trail ettiquette - all it takes is one rider to clear one branch from this a remote sanctioned track. Help other users and give a friendly wave HI to others.
