From "l'Argamasse" islet*, the trail is rather wide and flows downhill, with some with some switchback and slippery rocks to keep things interesting, until you reach a ravin.
Once you cross the ravin, it is mostly undulating, with some pinch climbs sections that may require dismounting the bike. The trail here becomes narrow and exposed, so keep your speed in check.
The finish is marked by a steep section of stairs (rideable if you feel like it) ending on the D26 road.
* In Reunion Island, an Islet is a small isolated plateau, often surrounded by cliffs or ravins.
The trail is the essential part of a trail called "Sentier des Trophées Mondiaux". Exit on the D26 road and ride back up to the main car park.
