This is an awesome downhill trail that goes from La Joyita mountain rescue cabin all the way down to Parque Ecológico Apatlaco. You will pass a piece of the Volkswagen pine forest restoration project (you may need a permit to cross it). It is a sensitive wildlife habitat area in particular for the endemic teporingo rabbit (Romerolagus diazi), so shred lightly.
