----------------------------------------------------------------English version-------------------------------------------------------------

Origin ot the name: There is no consensus among employees of the park on where the name La Rebelle comes from...some say it is because it is the most difficult / technical trail of the park, others claim it is related to the rebellious attitude of the designer of this particular trail. Anyways...we like the name so it is probably there to stay!

Built during the summer of 2016 and finished during the summer of 2017, La Rebelle was mainly built by hand (no excavator), like La Serpentine (3). That explains the amount of roots and rocks left on the trail, which make it a bit more technical to ride than other trails built with a mini-excavator. La Rebelle is nevertheless much more flowy than La Serpentine.

The trail begins by a short, flat and wide section - but don't get fooled- that quickly changes! Rght after a short, steep climb, a steep, dowhnhill rocky section leads to the shore of the river. That is probably the most technical section of the park (but still, nothing compared to other trails North of Quebec City...).

Then comes a flowy section along the river with some jumps and berms (don't go too fast or you might miss the super nice river basin, a nice place for a quick dip in the water...).

The trail then crosses La Medievale (7) and keeps going with a series of quick turns, descents and small jump. But since all good things have an end, La Rebelle eventually reaches La Medievale (7), where it ends. For those who really enjoyed La Rebelle, you can make a left on La Medievale and...do La Rebelle once more!
