The Lake Hood Track is a dual-directional shared use track that goes from under the bridge on SH1 out to Lake Hood. You can also ride around the lake before returning to town. The track is shared with walkers and is wide enough to pass the whole way. There is a pump track on the far side of the lake near the play ground if you wish to do a lap or two.

Access Info

There is a carpark on the South -West side of the SH1 bridge over the Ashburton River. From here you head underneath the bridge and should be able to find the track.
