Långa Manen Details
The long esker, Långa Manen, rises in the middle of the big bog named Geijersdalsmossen. It's not steep but narrow and at some places just about the right height to not be cut in half by the bog. The views are spectacular and if you are here at the right time, you can be lucky to see the dancing cranes, the grouse or the capercaillie.
The riding is spectacular too. If you ride from west to east, you get a feeling of downhill, even though it's not that much.
If it's damp and you don't want to risk your health on the wooden footbridges going north, out of the area in the eastern part, you can just turn around and ride the same way back.
If you ride the footbridges to the northern end of the bog you have some nice narrow singletrack going back to the main road in northwest.
