Not overly steep, but man this trail is rocky. Make it to the top and you will be rewarded with views from the highest point in eastern Wyoming. Point your bike down the trail and see how long you can last before your hands and feet start cramping up. It's so cool what bikes can handle these days

Access Info

From Douglas head south on highway 94 (Esterbrook Rd). After 16 miles the road turns to dirt. Continue on Esterbrook Rd for 25 miles to the Bear Creek Rd intersection. Take a left onto Bear Creek Rd and follow for 2.5 miles to the Friend Park campground road. The campground is one mile in from this point and the trailhead is just past the campground on the hill to the left.
