Great ride down, but watch out for the two creek crossings and root systems from trailside trees.

Head up the trail. At the fork, head left as the sign suggests. This is very much a one way loop. Climb for a while. Check out the old mine entrance halfway up. At the top, strap on your pads and rip down.
You will see hikers coming up the downhill occasionally.
There's a lot of fast trail, and only a few blind sharp corners, so you can go pretty fast.

There's some small jumps/bumps, but nothing mandatory or large. Berms on most corners, but there's a few spots with steep drops on the side of the trail.

Braking bumps everywhere! Also there is a tree on the last 0.5 mile section of trail. Doesn't block all of the trail but def is an obstacle.

Road up is wrecked again though if I had my XJ would have been no problem but fully loaded truck with towing tires was a slow go. Great ride but may want to park further out and ride in. Warm up helps for the immediate climb anyway

The road is private until the trailhead so nash park (aka the empty southern lot east of the four way) is a great option for people looking to get some extra warm up time and avoid the rough road.
