This section of Lewis and Clark Nat. Historic Trail follows Lewis and Clark Ridge between the East and West Forks of Camp Creek. The trail runs through coniferous forest with some open ridgeline in the middle. Portions of the trail are very steep.

There are a few tricky areas where the trail is tough to follow...look for Lewis and Clark Emblems ahead or yellow flagging tape. The trail cross Road 729 three times.

Access Info

Access the trail off of Forest Road 729 3-1/2 miles from US-93 at the top end of the trail. The lower end of the trail also is accessed from Road 729 1-1/4 miles above Indian Trees CG.
