In great shape. First three miles are a constant climb. Top section on ridge is beautiful and fairly level.

Some standing water at the very top and very bottom. Very rideable even 24 hours after a good rain. All trees across the trail were cleared 11/27....

Just got done riding from sign to sign. Two trees down on the trail, one you have to climb over, the other you just ride around. Very fun trail. I also suggest riding from the north fork river side to the parking lot. First mile up is steep switch backs but after that its a steady climb up, and than a fast ride down. Summer 2019

Trail is clear of any issues as of 5/2019. The tree that fell over has been turned into a little jump on the way down.

Rode this trail twice in late November 2017. It is a fairly wide and steep trail in the beginning with a hundred yards of standing water right from the parking lot. It gets a little more technical further up with decent rocks and roots and finally legit singletrack as the elevation levels out as you reach the sign at the top.

Calling this a blue trail is a stretch.

Although the trail is mostly devoid of features and has a good amount of gravel, the positive is a very high speed descent.

I would exercise some caution for downed trees and wildlife. I had a yard sale hopping over a big wet Redwood log. And heard some bears grunting in the woods (deer have higher pitched grunts).
