Canyon walk with trail highlights of Miners Cabin, mines, pear trees, and lots of waterfalls. Also, fabulous fall colors. Expect leafy vegetation to be high during the summer.
The trail crosses the creek multiple times. Expect to get your feet wet.

Trail is not ideal for equine past the cabin.

Access Info

From Silver City - at the junction of Highway 180 and Highway 90 in Silver City, take Highway 180 a little over 50 miles west. You will pass the big sign to the Moon Ranch along the way, and soon after that is the Sacaton Road on the right. It is in Little Dry Creek on the right when the highway is taking a sharp turn to the left. Take the Sacaton Road 2.8 miles and then turn left on fs road # 196. Continue 3.3 miles to the end of the road (the trailhead).

Disclaimer

Do not use this trail during high snowmelt runnoff or during heavy monsoon or prolonged rain. Both road and trail could get washed out.
