Little Salty climbs up from Dino Flow to Baby Steps North via a pretty direct climb initially on rippled slabs of slick rock and then onto dirt. The start of the climb is steep and gets after it, but like all slick rock climbs, traction isn't the question, the rider's stamina is.

The slick rock section will push your fitness, but eases up just enough to catch a breath and get the heart rate back down. The trail is well marked and takes a pretty obvious line.

The middle and upper sections take the trail onto dirt and climb up through two short, steep sections before topping out on Baby Steps North.

Access Info

The trail is part of the Klondike Bluffs trail system and sits in the middle of the system so it can be easily accessed from either the North Klondike Bluffs section or the Klondike Bluffs section. From the bottom, Little Salty intersects Dino Flow. In the middle EKG intersects. At the top UFO and Baby Steps North provide access.
