The gravel road along the Los Gatos Creek and parallel to Hiway 17 is the main connector for ALL Bikes that want to connect Los Gatos town to Lexington Res. and beyond. Road Bikes use this road on their way over the Santa Cruz mountains as well as Mtn and Cross Bikes. It's a wide easy road that comes off the bridge over Main Street in Los Gatos and ends at the top of the Lexington Dam. The climb up the dam is pretty hard, especially a short pitch about a half mile before the dam itself. Many many people walk, run, and ride this road, and often in groups.

Access Info

In Los Gatos town, there is a bridge where Main Street crosses Hiway 17. The trailhead is here, plus it can be reached via the Los Gatos Creek Paved Bike path that starts in San Jose. The other end is at the top of Lexington Dam on Alma Bridge Road.
