Nice climb to a scenic lake. Trail is considerably more technical than neighboring Louise Lake Trail. The trail is mostly covered with rocks which makes climbing more difficult and descending very fun

Access Info

Trailhead accessed from South Boulder road. Follow signs toward Curly Lake trail. Shared trailhead with Louise Lake is a left turn off road 107 prior to Curly Lake trailhead. High clearance vehicle is recommended beyond the Curly Creek trailhead.

10-12 trees down requiring detours, carry over logs and hike a bike. Needs more than a hand saw

reporter Three 20"+ diameter trees down that will require chainsaw work. Cleared 7 smaller trees with hand saws. Very good riding right now!

Trail is good for the first couple of miles with a couple of down trees. There's still significant snow on the trail so you can't ride to the top and even hiking is challenging.
