This is a 8 mile trail that can be ridden as an out and back for a total of 16 miles or as a shuttle from either end. The trail is a combination of old and new trail with a lot of rocks and creek crossings. This is a very wet trail in the spring and is best to wait until late June-early July to ride.
Head east of Anaconda on Highway 1, Turn left at Highway 48 and take the first left on Highway 48, following the signs to Lost Creek State Park. Once you enter the park, drive a couple miles to the Lost Creek Trailhead Parking on your right. Ride up the road and take a right around the gate and start climbing!
