Though arguably the same trail, the character of this section is distinct from that above. This portion of trail begins in a part of the canyon with numerous small side trails (one leading to cross peak), and continues to have numerous small side trails (paralleling down canyon) until its end. The most major fork is typically the best for riding. This part of the trail sees much more non-bike traffic than that above, and thus is less set up for bikes specifically.
Its also substantially less difficult, less dangerous, and generally more rocky.
