This is the easier, but still adventurous, part of Drinkwaterkloof. The trail has a gravel surface and is bi-directional. There are a few rock obstacles on the trail, and a few places where one has to check your steps carefully alongside the stream. It has a slight climb the further you go up the kloof. The trail is suitable for beginner trailrunners and hikers.
