Gun Creek trail is a two way artery in the Park that goes from the headwaters of Gun Creek to the trailhead at the end of Gun Creek Rd.

The portion shown here is from the mid-elevation grasslands down and is the most used part of the trail. As with all BC Parks trails, ride with caution and be ready to dismount for horses and give way to hikers or other riders.

NOTE: At the request of Parks, please do not post times to the leader board for this or any Parks trail. Respect this wish and help ensure the experience of riding in the South Chilcotins will be available for years to come.

This trail can be described as "gravy, with a few lumps". It's a roller coaster of a trail, that changes nature every few km's, from buffy single track to rock gardens. Excellent wildflowers in the grasslands early season.

Great up-track--in perfect condition as of last week. This trail should be rated a green/blue descent (not black) and blue ascent.

I wouldn't call this a green descent as that would imply a beginner trail... it's a solid blue. Some pretty steep technical sections.

Easy riding both directions, well cleared and brushed. Technical "janky" rock sections near the bottom.
