Lower SART Details
Most popular section of the Santa Ana River Trail single track. Mellow grade pedaling and some pretty exposed traversing at times. Everything from flowy high speed meadow sections, to tight technical sections. A minimal amount of climbing. Good mixture of riding through the woods, to high desert loose terrain.
For the best ride in the area, connect from first half of Santa Ana River Trail to this trail, then to Morton Peak single track. Known locally as HELL RIDE!
From Angelous Oaks restaurant (post office) pedal on fire road behind (Angelous Oaks Ln) to access single track. Split is about a mile down the fire road, splits off the the right. At times is not easy to see the entrance.

|Pretty covered in snow for the first 1-1.5 miles. We were on a fat bike and a plus sized bike. Snow was deep and wet! Once we hit dirt it was a blast!|
