Lupine Single Track is a easy winding trail along a sagebrush arroyo with a perfect grade for going fast with minimum effort. It is about 2 miles long and the upper section is shaded by pinyon pine and juniper whereas the lower goes through sagebrush and rabbit brush. It is the lowest trail in the Paine Basin system and along with Prickly Pear and Gutterball can be ridden year round weather permitting. It has been used for bike races in the Basin in the past and is located close to the interstate so is often used for those who want to go for a quick ride.
