Mad Cow is an alternative to Swine Flu. A lot of people looking to do a couple of Swine Flu loops will do one climb on the Swine Flu climb, and then the next one on this trail. Also a good loop is to climb this trail, turn left at the pig and ride over to Far Side and down. Otherwise stay on it to connect across from the Swine Flu up to the Swine Flu down, missing out the upper sections. It is a rolling up and down trail, well built, with steepish ups and downs on the section that goes between the two Swines.

Once you get to Swine, you can keep going straight for a different down. Less bermy, but still great fun and it reconnects in two places back onto Swine.

Access Info

To access this trail, use the [L=https://www.trailforks.com/trails/unnamed-new-swine-climb/Unnamed new Swine Climb[/L]. Climb that past the powerline and then continue through multiple switchbacks. Once you pass a junction with the top of Far Side and a closed trail you're almost there. Watch for Mad Cow to your left soon after, it's easy to miss. If you get to the pig donation bin then you've gone too far - put a little cash in, and turn around, as it's easier to see on the way back.

In great shape all the way from the Swine climb down to where it joins the Swine DH. The lower section likely has snow and probably some deadfall.
