Mae Jo Jungle Loop Details
The Mae Jo Jungle trail is a single track loop in a lush jungle valley just north of the Huay Jo reservoir which is a hidden gem for cross country and all mountain riders. The ruts, roots, loose soil and the constant up-and-down make this trail quite demanding (for a cross-country trail). You also have to watch your head, because of low hanging bamboo branches and stalks.
Get to the canal road just behind Maejo university and follow Rd. 2009, then Rd. 5257. The latter road leads directly to the two trail heads (different entry and exit) just below the temple.
