This trail takes you to the terrain many mountain bikers miss out when they come to ride Chiang Mai. Climb up to Buddha Footprint Hike-a-bike, but instead of pushing up to the Buddha Footprint, turn left down some sweet singletrack. Steep long descent, not as technical as the trails on the Eastern slopes of Doi Pui, but never short on tricky corners especially when wet.

Access Info

You can ride the road or take a shuttle up to the start at Ban Hmong Doi Pui, the first section is shared with the Buddha Footprint trail. Once you get to the buddha footprint ridge, take the trail that goes left. About 100 meters in to the trail, you will find a small shelter. Continue down the ridge. Near the exit off the ridge, you will find 2 stone burials, be respectful. Turn right to continue to Mae Na Sai (turn left if you need a quick exit to the road.) Once you arrive in Mae Na Sai, follow the dirt road out to HighWay 1269.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!

A few large trees down on the trail and no clear walk arounds yet. Also, this trail is deeply rutted and the ruts are hungry for mountain bikers,...
