This trail has great speed and flow going down, but is often used as an uphill ride to get to the south slope downhill trails and the top section of Maple Hollow Downhill. It makes for a great Eagle Crest Loop and is fun in both directions. A couple turns can be very dry and washed on, and there is an off-camber turn than can send you into the scrub oak. A couple loose hairpins as well. As a climbing trail it is a nice gradual gradient and a pretty nice climb.
