Not all blacks are created equal. I got comfortable on levitate (currently rated black) so I thought I’d be prepared for maple hollow downhill... Nope. Even thought they are both rated black they are very dissimilar with maple hollow being way more technical.

Yup, Maple Hollow is a one of a kind trail. It's technical for the most part, but also has lots of flow near the bottom. In comparison to the other trails in Corner Canyon, I think it would be a double black diamond; it is more difficult than Jacob's Ladder IMO

Its definitely a single black, everything else in carpet canyon is just weak.

This is an amazingly flowy trail. The first half of it is pretty hard, but with a capable bike and enough skill, you can totally bomb this trail. The berms and features are the best I’ve seen.

Literally the most fun I’ve ever had on my bike. Top section is a little hairy but the second half has some amazing features. A must-ride if you’re in the area!!

Its a decent DH trail for the CC system. Could be a lot better. Compared to most DH tracks in the world this is not that awesome, just sayin.
The comments on here are pretty funny though...this is not a Bobsled trail on steroids, or amazingly flowy, and a lot of the features need some work. Make the lips on the big tables match the distance needed. I mean its possible to clear them as is but its not a pleasant jump.
But glad we have this trail, hopefully it will keep getting better with some of the dig days and re-routes planned.
Wish there was more steep technical trails in Corner Canyon stuff like Evil Empire, or The old Canyons DH trail.

Really fun trail! It isn't too bad, if you're thinking of riding it. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I can ride this trail. The top has some rough sections, but are not too bad. Bottom is more flow with jumps and rollers.

Great job on the freshen up, Alpine Trails! Time and effort well spent.

This is an awesome trail! Exactly what I was looking for, lots of tight technical turns with some jumps, drops and a step ups.
Like another commenter said this is definitely one of the harder trails in the area. As of 24Sep2020 the trail is in pretty rough shape due to the drought.

Great ride and one of my new favorites. Skinny, wall ride, jumps, big steep switchbacks, some tech and more.. Hidden jem. Hit it up. Do it today!
