Este sendero va por el cauce de un río seco hay que tener especial cuidado en los días de tormenta de no ingresar en este sendero porque puede haber crecida. El sendero no tiene mayor dificultad hay que ir buscando la senda mas firme ya que el lecho del río e por partes se pone un poco arenoso o hay mucha piedra chica por lo que se pone medio pesado si no se va por la huella. En este sendero vamos a encontrar las ruinas dos puestos el primero se llama el puesto el Molle, donde hay un corral muy grande hecho de piedra y el segundo es el puesto el Peral, donde hay un frondoso peral en el río y sobre la margen sur del río también hay unos corrales. Acá es donde comienza el sendero del By Pass del Áspero y si se sigue por el río se van a encontrar con unas cascadas que no se pueden bajar por lo que es muy importante no seguir de largo en este punto.
