The Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail is a multi-use, non-motorized, paved recreational trail that joins the communities of Invermere and Fairmont Hot Springs.

From Invermere: Head south on Westside Road, take the first right after the cattle guard at the edge of town. There is a sign that says "Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail Parking"
From Fairmont: Take 93/95 southbound out of town, turn right onto Westside Road, take the first right after the cattle guard into the parking lot shared with the Shaw building. There is a sign that says "Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail Parking"
