    City of Salmon Arm

This trail was originally created in the late 1970's by the City of Salmon Arm as an easement access, but official status as a recognized Shuswap Trail Alliance trail was achieved in 2017. It is maintained by a sidewalk tractor in wintertime, so is mostly usable all year for foot traffic and winter bikes. Half of the trail is currently access to private driveway, so expect an occasional slow-moving powered vehicle (that may change).
This trail has mostly been used by children going to and from school, but is also used by dog walkers, runners, and bicyclists. Electric bikes are OK, but other loud motorized traffic is not. The trail may also be usable by electric scooter mobility assistance chairs in dry weather, but there is a steep grade at the middle of the path that could be a problem.

Access Info

West end access to trail begins at 18 St NE(historic: Woodland Drive) just at the knee of the steep hill down to 15 Ave NE, and East end access of trail begins on 20 St NE (historic: Sinclair Road) about mid-way between 15 Ave NE and 12 Ave NE

Disclaimer

Expect an occasional private-drivel-access automobile on the Eastern half of the trail.

Short connector, part gravel driveway& part community trail. Good base. No mud. Part of connecting trails to Bastion Elementary and also to Salmon Arm Secondary, Sullivan Campus.
