The road to connect from Marshall to Mittower, does involve a section of pushing up a steep bank. An alternative from the top of Marshall might be possible. Once you are up at the saddle you can descend Mittower Gulch, or go down Woody mtn road to Bonner. Also the old jeep road from Blue Point comes down to here.

Continue past the new trails on the road, after a few switchbacks you will see sort of a trail going up the hill to the next road.

      The first 2.5 miles of the road are in good shape. The old hike-a-bike connection path at 2.5 miles has been obliterated by the forest service....

      Keep an eye on the trail. It's a better gravel ride than MTB, but views are stellar. Beware about 1/4 hike-a-bike that is unmarked about 1mile...
