Section 4 of the New England Trail, or the Mattabesett Trail, as it is known locally. Discover the Coginchaug Cave using the side trail. Explore the trails in Millers Pond State Park. Ascend the rocky summit of Bear Rock (elevation 660 feet) and enjoy the excellent views west to Bluff Head, Totoket Mountain, and Pistapaug Mountain. Wind your way through the rolling hills of the Cockaponset State Forest.
