This segment of May Creek Trail is gentle and well defined. It parallels May Creek between the Campground and May Creek Cabin.
May Creek Trail in its entirety can be looped with Anderson Mountain Road and Stevenson Ridge back to the campground. Another loop is May Creek Trail to Cabinet Creek to Shoofly to Trail Creek Road.
Winter: While May Creek is far from groomed, there is enough snowshoe and ski traffic to May Creek Cabin to keep the trail packed. Later in Winter is better.
