Fun trail in north Moorhead. Well maintained on the banks of the Red River. Careful of the skinny bridge!

All of the FM area trails are on soil that can be variable with weather. Rain turns it into a very slippery and sticky substance that is nearly impossible to ride, so if it's rained in the last 24 hours, be aware that you might have a change of plans for the day. Please respect the trails and if you are displacing the soil or it's sticking to you tires (you'll know real fast), please give it time to dry. Enjoy.

Having been with the original group of builders on this trail, I'm biased; but this is a great little trail in North Moorhead. There are a couple of challenging features, but they are easily detoured if you're not up for it. The trail rides pretty fast but can get hairy if you like to pick up the speed. All of the FM area trails are on soil that can be variable with weather. Rain turns it into a very slippery and sticky substance that is nearly impossible to ride, so if it's rained in the last 24 hours, be aware that you might have a change of plans for the day.
