Long Double Track up hill with some incredible views near the top. If the trail is clear of blowdown (which it is often not) there are fun sections of downhill. This trail is not well marked, there is lots of trail braiding and moto/atv use in this area so generally the single track quality isn't great.

Fun, challenging trail with a remote feel. Punchy climbs with some route finding needed. Rewarding views and nice descent with the right conditions. Many small logs down repairing lifting the front wheel over, but the big ones were partially cleared. Once up near the top it's a small amount of up and down until the techy loose descent. Overall, a fun but tough ride which I'll be saving only for the right day in the future!

Fun, long, playful decent! The ride up isn’t joke! Save some energy! The single track decent is marked with tape on a tree to the left , just after the hut. If you hit the marsh you’ve gone too far!
Enjoy!

Snowy and lots of water flowing downhill. Had to turn back due to deep soft snow.

The trail is black due to the climb up. If you can ride a mountain bike on this trail you have god like skills. There is marking of small green bikes and arrows have been added if you start by the fire road access. You need to keep your head up to find them. The other side as your coming down there is next to nothing for markings but all the trails lead to the same place. Some faster then others. The trail it's self is maintained and clear even if not we'll marked.
The initial accent along the fire access road is not to exciting. There is places to camp and an dirt bike can make the entire route. It's not a busy place and it's a long hike with good up and down. To me that is a prefect hike!

Is this a black because of distance or other trail features?
