This trail skirts the bottom of the mountain on the west side, just above the fence line of the orchards/vineyards. Some spots have steep side hill but most of the trail is easy rolling terrain.

Access Info

From the Morgenstern's red gate, take the first sharp right and climb the old fire road (Summer Games trail) to a point where the trail turns right and crosses an open fence. Stay high on this trail, the lower forks go down to the Gasline (Lower Tower DH). Another fence crosses the trail about halfway around, but there is a gate (please keep closed in the later part of the year when cattle are around). At about 3/4 of the way around there is yet another fence, please close after crossing so that cattle won't wander into the city. After reaching the Southern ridge, do a sharp turn left onto the Ridge trail for about 20ft up the hill then take a right and head around and down to the East side. The trail ends at on old fire road.

This trail is unsanctioned.
