Indeed an epic trail. Once away from the Larch Hills x-c ski trails the LHT is predominantly single track. The trail is very well marked with orange squares nailed to trees about 8 to 10 feet above ground - there are lots of them. Trail junctions are generally well marked indicating the direction of travel. The Switchback trail down to Sicamous is a real blast. It would be great if the tight switchbacks were bermed to provide better flow and safety otherwise proceed with caution - some of the tight turns love to dump you down the hill. I would highly recommend the LHT to all fit and experienced mountain bike riders. The trail would be a drag in bad weather. Ignore my previous cryptic comment ( it was a correction to a comment which did not post).
