Enjoy the 800-acre Penwood State Park, donated by Curtis Veeder in 1944, beautifully forested with mature growth trees. Glacial erratics and wildflowers abound on this trail section. Penwood has various side trails and old roads for further exploration. A set of old CCC stone steps still exist, as does the site of the former Veeder family cabin. Stop at Lake Louise and visit the observation platform or climb up and enjoy the view from The Pinnacle.
