Used primarily to connect Warner Lake or Deer Pass travellers to the lower valley, either Spruce Lake or out to Jewel or Gun Creek Rd trailheads.

As always, ride with caution on these multi-use trails, and give way to other users. The trail bed changes every km, from buffy sand to technical rock gardens. Plenty of shallow creek crossings, steep sidehill sections and mud holes provide interest and challenge. Great views when in the frequent breaks of the loose, pine forest canopy and along Trigger and Hummingbird lakes.

Awesome section of trail, great rolling terrain with only a few short technical sections, great camping spots along the way. Climbs near the end to get up to the Grasslands.
