4 trees down past the Kings. 1 tree down about a half mile in. Fairly good condition otherwise. The long downhill section is a gravel road.

We road this in heavy rain because well... pisgah forest never closes for rain. Anyway take my opinion with a grain of salt. It’s a mix of overgrown forest service road, single track and rutty single track hills. Maybe 50, 40, 20% respectively. In the rain half the technical hills were unclimbable with a 1x11 27.5+ hardtail. On the brakes hard coming down those. Lots up steep up and down once up on the ridge. It is sweet being up on the ridge with steep drop offs each side. I should say I’m referring to the ridge trail from brown mtn beach road to roseboro road, that’s the middle and lower on the map. The upper portion where you’re riding on dirt road has a long section that was just freshly bulldozed out, wide flat loose. Terrible deep mud in the rain. It was good to go to the top of the ridge but in the future I may do repeats on the Lower section, there’s potential there for wall rides and more jumps like brevard area pisgah.
