Moa to Paran Details
This segment of the ISRAEL BIKE TRAIL begins at the foot of the Moa Ruins, one of the many caravansaries
where the Nabateans rested and drank on the ancient Incense Route. The trail
continues along the Spring Path to its impressive meeting point with the high
cliffs of Wadi Ashosh. The trail then narrows and links up with Wadi Tsofar at the
foot of the Tsofar Plateau, passing through a primordial landscape of wadis and
numerous acacia trees. As you continue along the trail, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of
Wadi Paran estuary – the largest dry riverbed in Israel. The trail crosses and continues
.through the imposing Telem Eshet Cliffs, ending at the entrance to Moshav Paran
The trail, which is about 35 km long, crosses varied landscapes and consists of single
track and four-wheel-drive roads; it is moderately difficult technically and physically
